How does doing a trade-in work?

You bring in any game(s) or system(s) or accessories you don’t want or need any more and we’ll give you credit against other games, systems or accessories in the store. If you don’t see enough stuff you want at the moment, you can carry the balance of your trade value as a store credit and use it later.

Can I get money instead?

Sure. Your trade value will always be higher than your cash value, but if you don’t see anything you want right away and you don’t want to carry a store credit, you can choose to take cash instead.

How much will I get for my games?

Every video game, system or accessory has a “current market value,” which is the average price you would pay for it if you bought it today. The trade value of a game is a portion of the current market value, and taking into consideration the overall condition of the disc or cartridge as well. We check current values daily so we can make sure you get every advantage possible on your trade-in.

What if I’ve only played my game once - will it be worth more?

The current value of a game won't be based on what you paid for it when you bought it, or on how many times you’ve played it since you bought it. The current value of the game depends entirely on what it sells for used, right now, this minute - and the trade credit is a portion of that value. On rare occasions, though, a really popular or classic game will actually be worth more than what you initially paid for it. We keep up-to-the-minute records of game values for you.

Do you have the newest games?

We get the newest titles in every week. Our shipments usually come in on Wednesday or Thursday, sometimes Friday. And you can pre-order anything you want, to be sure of getting it before the supply runs out.

Can I trade some used games for new games?

You can use your trade-in credit against anything that’s for sale in the store, even the candy, shirts, hats, pins, posters, whatever.

Do you ship games?

All over the continental US and Canada. You can call with a credit card, or get a total with shipping and send a money order or local check, and we’ll have your game in the mail right away. We don’t do long-distance trades, though!

Do you really have thousands of games?

Actually, we stopped counting when we got over two thousand. We don’t really know how many thousands we have, but we do know the number is growing….and growing....and growing…….
